A really old man, who is 110 years old has stabbed his wife who is 109 years old because she didn’t want to have sex with him. This happened in Uganda. The man’s name is Dominic Babiiha and the woman’s name is Costansio Bakasisa. They live in a place called Kahunga in the western part of Ntungamo. The police say that the argument started on Thursday night when the woman said she was too tired and had a cough, so she didn’t want to sleep with her husband. They decided to sleep in different rooms that night. On Saturday morning, the man started yelling and saying he didn’t want to die alone. One of their granddaughters went in to see what was happening and found the old man with a big knife. He told her to leave the room and then he stabbed his wife many times. The neighbours heard the noise and found the woman dead. The old man had locked himself in a room and was found unconscious with a bottle of poison next to him. The police say that the reason for this terrible act was because they were arguing about having sex. The police are still investigating the case. Even though they were married, they were sleeping in different rooms.
Local police spokesman Samson Kasasira said that the incident at their marital home took place in Kahunga I in Ntungamo District’s of Uganda. According to him: “It is alleged that at around 8pm on December 14, the deceased had turned down her husband’s request to join him in bed because she was feeling weak and had a cough, and that the two peasants went to sleep in separate rooms with the deceased moving in with her two great-grandchildren.” Subsequent skirmishes showed that the old man had procured a weapon with which he stabbed her several times. Help came too late for his wife.
